NCWorks NextGen Programs provide the best possible opportunity to find a job and keep it for eligible youth between the ages of 16 - 24! Working with your local NextGen Program, staff members can help you learn to set and accomplish goals, understand how to be a responsible employee and start down a solid career path with a promising future.

 

Eligibility for services is determined by the local program for your area, but requirements include:

 

  1. Between the ages 16-24
  2. Need assistance with finding a career path and future
  3. Have at least one barrier to employment, including:

     

    • Dropped out of High School
    • Low Income
    • Criminal Background
    • Pregnant or Parenting
    • Basic Skills Deficient
    • Homeless
    • Disability
    • Foster Care
    • English Language Learner
