Work Place

Fundraising managers spend much of their time in environmentally-controlled offices during regular business hours. They may sometimes need to travel to meet customers. These managers have frequent contact with members of their team and customers, communicating through email, face-to-face discussions, and telephone. A significant amount of their time at work involves decision-making, and these decisions can have a major impact on coworkers and on their companies finances. Not surprisingly, this work can be stressful. Most public relations and fundraising managers work at least full time, and its not unusual to have extended workdays.
